We love hearing back from our happy customers. Usually, we hear about how our equipment helps save people's necks and backs from the strain of carrying cameras around their necks. Or how easy our vest and holsters make it for photographers to access their equipment and get that perfect shot.
But here's one from the mailbag that definitely jumped out. Nancy Gessner got in touch to tell us about her trip to southern Utah when a fall nearly cost her her gear.
"My husband and I just returned from a 2 week trip to the national parks in southern Utah - Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches and Canyonlands - and detours to Mesa Verde and Monument Valley.
Most days included hiking into and out of canyons on steep trails and across slick rock. Using the Cotton Carrier to secure my camera was a godsend allowing me to have my hands free. It was quite comfortable even while wearing a backpack. Numerous people commented on the carrier and asked me about it. I always gave it very favorable reviews.
On day 1 of our trip, we were hiking in Zion when I tripped and fell forward onto my knees and elbows. I am convinced that the Cotton Carrier saved my camera (a Nikon D600) from any damage other than a little dirt on the lens cover. Thank you for making such a sturdy yet comfortable and easy to use product!"
Glad that you and your camera survived the fall Nancy!
